What is T:>NFT

T:>NFT is a gathering of NFT collections created by artists commissioned and presented by T:>Works, an independent and international arts company based in Singapore. At T:>NFT, collaborations are important to us. From conversations to final creation, we commit our artistry, care and share resources. Together, we explore the possibilities and challenges of art making in the physical-digital-hybrid spaces.

T:>Works is proud to present Brian Gothong Tan’s first NFT collection on T:>NFT. Tan has created 30 single edition or 1/1 #Metazomia NFTs. They will be minted on Foundation.app in December 2022.

They are part of the larger collection of digital images drawn from the onsite #Metazomia production that will be staged @72-13. The production will premiere on 31 December 2022 and ring in the new year of 2023. Inspired by Zomia and the creation myth of Bitcoin, #Metazomia sits in the interstices of curiosity. Reality is bent and perspectives are mysterious and surreal, yet, filled with potentialities.

What is an NFT?

NFT is an acronym for non-fungible token, which means it can neither be replaced nor interchanged. It also means whoever has the NFT gets exclusive ownership as there can only be one owner per NFT. It is a digital asset that represents digital collectables such as art, music, and games with an authentic certificate created by blockchain technology.

What technology does T:>NFT use?

To service minting needs, T:>NFT will be collaborating with art consultancy, iCare.4U, which will provide support for those unfamiliar with the NFT process in the Web3 terrain. The T:>NFT collection will be minted on the Polygon blockchain. The Polygon ecosystem is committed to a Green Manifesto making the chain climate positive in the future.
